Spring has arrived.
According to Merriam-Webster, it is a time or season of growth and development. Just like plants, our growth comes from deep within in the dark, rich soil. It can get a little dirty down here, but this is where incredible inner-growth can emerge from.
As you pull out your garden tools and dust off your summer gear, I challenge you to an inner spring cleaning of sorts. What piece of you have you buried or neglected that should be dusted off an examined? It could be as simple as a forgotten hobby that used to bring you joy or it could be quite challenging, such as an unresolved problem in an important relationship.
Unsurprisingly, unresolved or neglected personal needs can lead to unhealthy eating behaviors like emotional eating, as well as exacerbating digestive issues due to stress. This transition period to spring can serve as a time to regenerate lost or damaged pieces of your inner-self. By tending to these personal needs, you may find an extra boost of strength and self-love to improve other aspects of your life.
What do you have buried in your heart and mind that can be coaxed out and healed? We’ve all got something to explore.
